I don't know much about myspace but as far as I remember javascript isn't allowed in there, so its gonna be tricky making your desired function and still keep within the rules. You could probably have someone do it in flash for you, unless you have the program yourself. I also think that Eric Meyer has done some examples on pure css popups, but not sure it will work for you.
Have you seen this function on other peoples myspace profiles? Might wanna ask them then.
